David’s practice focuses on general intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent portfolio development and management. He has extensive experience in patent prosecution in medical device technologies and chemical related arts. Along with evaluation of competitor portfolios and technology for potential acquisition, David also conducts validity and infringement evaluations for his clients. He has specialized work experience in chemical processing and manufacturing for Dow Corning. David earned highest honors in Chemical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. He has been named a "Super Lawyer" for two consecutive years by Minnesota Law and Politics, Twin Cities Business Monthly and Mpls./St. Paul magazines.
