Doug’s practice includes preparation and prosecution of
domestic and international patent applications encompassing a variety of mechanical
and electromechanical technologies, including medical devices.
Prior to joining Crompton, Seager & Tufte, Doug spent several years each with two
multi-national companies in a variety of roles that included Project Engineer, Manufacturing
Engineer, and Intellectual Property Specialist. Doug has extensive work experience
in sheet metal manufacturing, production mechanical assembly, and product design & engineering. Doug
also spent time working as a free-lance Patent Searcher for several clients.
